ave you ever felt like two people? One that thinks and acts totally opposite to God's ordinances and the other who watches in horror and revulsion. We are truly fallen creatures, trapped and enslaved by our own "flesh." God has promised, however, that we can shed our old and corrupt garment and be transformed into a new person - one holy enough to be worthy to boldly approach the very throne of God. This kind of victorious life is there for the asking, and God has laid out a simple path. We must be transformed by the moment-by-moment renewing of our minds..
What does it mean to renew our minds? How do we take every thought captive? The Bible tells us that the goal and purpose of every Christian is to be "conformed into the image of Christ." This transformation, however, only occurs as we learn to moment by moment "renew our minds." Without this constant renewal we will simply be conformed to the world's image and our lives will remain the same as they always have been, no matter what we do to try to change them. Therefore, our efforts to change should not be focused on our wrong actions, but on our wrong thinking. Be Ye Transformed
